2011 Year-End Contributions

Because of generous donations from our members and the general public throughout 2011, AFI was able to…

  • Preserve our priceless film heritage by recording interviews with film masters like William Friedkin, David O. Russell and Steven Spielberg – sharing their wisdom with the Fellows of AFI Conservatory and bringing them to audiences around the world through the AFI Archive.
  • Build a more complete history of American film through the AFI Catalog of Feature Films a one-of-a-kind, scholarly portrait of nearly 77,000 American films.
  • Celebrate the 25th edition of AFI Fest, which allows thousands of movie-goers to experience new and established voices in film – the best of the year – with free tickets to every single screening.

But we need your help to carry the momentum of this work into 2012.  Please consider a contribution to AFI as a part of your year-end giving plans. Thank you!
