AFI FEST 2011 Film THE DISH & THE SPOON Screening at the Downtown Independent

AFI FEST 2011 film THE DISH & THE SPOON is screening at the Los Angeles Downtown Independent on Thursday March 1! Written and directed by AFI Conservatory Alum Alison Bagnall, it screens with the Sundance short film UNA HORA POR FAVORA, written and directed by Jill Soloway. Doors are at 7 pm with a Q & A and party afterward.

THE DISH & THE SPOON: Greta Gerwig stars as Rose, a woman descending into an emotional tailspin after her husband admits to an affair. Hell-bent on revenge, she drives to a boarded-up Delaware beach town to hunt down the other woman. Instead, she discovers a stranded British teenage boy and the mismatched pair stumble through a series of adventures that build towards an unconventional romance in this funny and raw film.
